There has been some interest in CW practice and I thought I would share an
option for generating CW using FM and your HT.
This is a simple circuit using a 555 timer, and was featured in the July
1997 issue of QST.

*Note*: R8 is a 4.7kOhm potentiometer.
C2 in the diagram should read 0.01 mF as stated in the parts list.
