For those that have used the link between the Brush Mountain and Cloyd's
Mountain or Brush Mountain direct, you may have noticed some drop outs. We
are currently experiencing a fluctuation in power output at Brush Mountain
that often reduces the signal received at Cloyd's Mountain to below
receivable levels. This creates drop outs as heard on the Cloyd's repeater,
or when listening to Brush directly.
Mike KE4RGY is working the issue with available resources to diagnose and
remedy the problem (thanks Mike!).
Cloyd’s Mountain – Pulaski County, Virginia
147.180 MHz +600Hz Offset with a PL tone of 103.5 Hz
Brush Mountain – Blacksburg, Virginia
444.650 MHz +5MHz Offset with a PL 107.2 Hz
