Here we go again Folks!
Russ N4MAV
Good morning,
Once again, we have a threat of winter weather this week. The threat for
winter weather, primarily in the form of accumulating snow, will occur
Tuesday night and Wednesday, possibly extending through Thursday morning
for the mountains. At this point there remain too many uncertainties to
issue a Winter Storm Watch or Winter Weather Advisory. However, we feel
fairly confident that headlines of one of the other or both will likely be
needed within the next 24-36 hours. Please remain abreast of later
forecasts and watches, warnings, or advisories that may be issued
concerning this winter weather threat Tuesday night through early Thursday,
mainly from the Blue Ridge west. Further details regarding potential
snowfall can be found from the images below.
There is also a risk of winds approaching wind advisory criteria on
Thursday behind the departing winter storm system.
**
*Confidence: Medium to high on *
potential for winter weather, low to medium on snow amounts.
