Thanks to everyone for all the hard work during field day. I apologize for not being able to help set up and break down. That was my weekend to work at the Arsenal, 12 hour shifts. I was able to operate a few hours Saturday evening then came back out around 5:00 am before I went to work. Hopefully, next year, I can take a little more time off. Great job by everyone. Had a great time. Field day is always fun and successful. 73's

Just wanted to send out a quick message to thank everyone for participating
in our 2018 Field Day this weekend!
I'll be posting information about the contacts and points we made later, so
stay tuned...

The food was great, the conditions were good, and the fellowship was
outstanding!

We had good participation in searching for rogue transmitters, and learned
a little about the equipment needed.

The Radio Rummage was a success! Between donations (thank you all) and
selling some of the club equipment not in use, we collected over $100 for
the club. The best part is that we got some gear out of the closets and
attics, and into the hands of hams that can make use of the equipment at a
price that doesn't hurt! Can we call this one the first ANNUAL Radio
Rummage?

The weather was good, even with a couple of short rain showers, and the
nighttime temps were perfect. Thanks to those that stayed out there all
night to protect the equipment and make contacts throughout!

Thanks to all that donated use of their radios and equipment. It's always
nice to see new and old hams using different equipment. It raises all of
our skill levels and helps us learn more about what's available!

If you didn't come... well... you missed out. Mark you calendar for next
year now (June 22-23 2019). Go ahead.... we'll wait....

Anyways, that's enough from me as I'm ready for bed. I'm plum tuckered ;)

73 and good propagation to you all!
