[nrv-hams] 2018 Field Day - New activities!?

Elite NRV Hams!

Only 2 more Saturdays, then FIELD DAY!

I hope you all are making plans to attend and hang out to enjoy the hobby
together.

This year we are going to have two additional activities scheduled on
Saturday in addition to the lunch at 2pm.

*First, we will have a training event at 4pm given by yours truly on
TRANSMITTER HUNTING! I encourage you to bring your gear, or just use mine
as we learn about some of the technology and techniques used to find
transmitters. I know you want to try our next fox hunt!

*After that, we'll have our first RADIO RUMMAGE sale at 5pm! Bring a box of
box of ham related items you are wanting to sell or trade. We have lots of
new hams that are looking for used equipment and guidance, so this is a
great time to talk about what we have and figure out how to help each other.

So, short list for Saturday 23rd:
8:30am Breakfast at Shoneys
10:30am Start setup at Randolph Park
2:00pm Lunch and On the air
4:00pm Fox Hunt training
5:00pm Radio Rummage

Also, still looking for food items, radios, and other things. If you plan
on helping with any of that, please email me so I can update my
information. Getting down to the wire, so I'm getting a little nervous, so
help me out! ;)
