Greetings. I am the Assistant Section Emergency Coordinator for Virginia 
for the Amateur Radio Emergency Service, a program of the American Radio 
Relay League.

I recently attended the Roanoke Valley ARC meeting to discuss Amateur 
Radio Emergency Services with their group. Being well received, it was 
suggested that I do the same presentation for the New River Valley group.

Please let me know if you are interested in my attending a meeting and 
responding to questions regarding the newly-focused ARES. Thank you for 
your time and attention in my request and for all your group does to 
keep amateur radio available in times of emergency.
