The 180 machine is temporarily operating off the Arrow J-pole antenna that
was put up for the winlink station AI4RC-9. AI4RC-9 is working off a mag
mount on the roof of the building. I connected to it last night and
received messages.

This is  to try and isolate the problem we have been having with the
repeater, Please monitor when you can and let us know how it is working. We
are also interested in seeing how the j-pole performs and the coverage
area. The j-pole is about 35' compared to our regular antenna at about 60'

We did have a net last night with 8 check ins. Thanks to Pete Burkey for
taking the net..Also thanks to Mike Herring for his continued effort to get
the repeater back up to par. Mike has made several trips to the site and it
is not an easy trip
