Good evening Danny,

The events we currently have scheduled are as follows:

    *The Old Dominion Ride.* Orkney Springs VA (one hour north of
Harrisonburg VA). June 09-11 2017. I cannot find the directions right now
so if anyone is interested they should contact me and I will get updated
directions to send out. This is right on top of us. I will be leaving next
Thursday the 8th to be set up and ready for an early start on the 9th.

    *Field Day.* We will be joining with the Briarpatch ARC at their
traditional site just off the Blue Ridge Parkway at the Higher Ground
Church Camp. As it stands now there will probably be three of our trailers
there. We do this primarily as a social event and not as a serious contest.
We still try to log as many contacts as we can just for kicks. The location
gives us a clear view south off the top of the Blue Ridge Plateau which is
great for VHF simplex.

    *Iron Mountain Jubilee.*  Ivanhoe VA (Wythe county). August 25-26
2017.  This is our home event and one that Roger and Pete have helped us
with in the past.

    *Fort Valley Ride. * Fort Valley VA (very close to the Orkney Springs
location). October 20-21 2017. This ride is much smaller than the Old
Dominion and it is on the opposite side of the interstate from Orkney
Springs.

    We have not yet made plans for the October SET. We are waiting to see
what develops in ARES. LOL...

There is also the spring *No Frills Ride* due west of Winchester VA. This
is always in April and it is also on a Friday and Saturday

Of course any or all of you are welcome to come out and join us at any of
these. Just let me know if you need more information.
