Just saw this item from Home Power magazine and thought it might be of
interest to others on the list. It is oriented towards wind turbines but
some of the same advice should apply to amateur radio needs when climbing
towers.

As someone who prefers to keep both feet firmly on the ground I can't
comment too much on all the specifics presented in the article but it
seemed to have some very practically-oriented advice for improving safety
and efficiency while doing tower-related work. Hope that others find it
useful.
