The NWS office in Blacksburg is looking for snow report to as follows;
When snow has reached 5" of measured snowfall at your location, the second
is the total snowfall at the end of the event.

I will be monitoring the
​ W4FCV 147.210 + Tones are 114.8 *in and out *and the 146.745​
and the 146.985 - Tone of 107.2
​repeaters throughout​ most of this event.


I will also be listening on 3.947 as much as possible.
​If I-77 or
I-81 is blocked or non travel-able, we will either be activated by ARES or
by the State.  This is a MAJOR STORM!  Stay indoors keep you heat up and be
ready for anything. ​
