Subject: NRVBA SAG Volunteers for Burkes Garden Century

NRVBA cyclists:

If you're not riding the Burkes Garden Century on Saturday, August 20th,
please consider helping out. We're looking for two more SAG drivers, each
with a vehicle capable of carrying at least one bicycle. Repair supplies
(tires, tubes, cables), fluids, and snacks will be provided. Plus you will
be asked to bring a few items from home, e.g. whatever bike tools you own,
floor pump, broom, dog leash or rope. You will be reimbursed for gasoline
(mileage rate to be confirmed).

SAG Driver Duties, as listed in BGC Organizational Manual:

Drive route and provide SAG to any riders who need it
Remove any road hazards that you are able to remove
Leash runaway dogs that may chase riders
Sweep road debris off the road
Mark pot holes and damage to the road surface
Keep log of repair parts used
Transport injured riders or riders dropping out of the ride back to the
start/finish
Make sure to return all supplies to the SAG coordinator

In addition, you may be asked to put out and/or pick up signs.
