[nrv-hams] Jamboree on the Air - Volunteers Requested!

Hi, NRV club!

VTARA is working with Blackburg BSA Troop 704 to run a Jamboree on the Air
Station this weekend. We are looking for additional hams who might be able
to help out.

Our station will be located on the McPhereson Farm on Blacksburg Road.
This is approximately a 15 to 20 minute drive from the Virginia Tech Campus.

We are especially looking for operators on Saturday from morning until
about 5 PM. I know you have your eating meeting at 2 PM, so this might be a
fun activity for the morning!

We are running a portable station in a cabin on the property.  All
equipment will be setup and ready. Food is provided for volunteers.

Please note that the property is a bit rugged.  There is only an outhouse
with no running water.  We are operating off of a generator.
