[nrv-hams] Senate antenna bill

As you may know, a companion bill for H.R. 1301 has been introduced in the
U.S. Senate. It is S. 1685.

We now need letters written to Virginia's Senators Kaine and Warner asking
them to co-sponsor the bill in the Senate. Like the letters sent about H.R.
1301, the best approach is to mail our signed letters c/o ARRL HQ for
delivery by hand via the ARRL's Washington consultants. Plopping a stack of
constituent letters on a staff person's desk gets their attention like
nobody's business.

There are more than 19,000 licensed hams in Virginia. We need every one of
them to invest in a postage stamp and a few minutes time to get our Senators
to co-sponsor. 

Carter and I have written our letters. Will you please do the same?

Be sure to refer to the Senate version when you write to the Senators,
otherwise the letter won't do any good.
