[nrv-hams] idea for Field Day

After offering the radio merit badge for the Boy Scout a couple weeks ago I have had a couple of troops that have asked me to come to thier troops to teach the badge.

My plan is to go teach the badge over several nights  at the troop meetings. and for the radio portion have the troops come to field day with the club.  The troops to arrive at 10:am and help the club setup the towers and when Field day starts put the scouts on the GOTA station to give us points for that.

This I hope can be an agenda item for the meeting Monday nite
