Hi Everyone,
At the Annual meeting of the Floyd Amateur Radio Society we got to talking
about not knowing a lot of the hams outside of the Floyd County area.  That
got us to thinking of getting everyone together and wondering how you all
felt about this?
The four clubs that surround Floyd are Franklin, Carroll, Montgomery, and
Roanoke, but we also have a little bit of Patrick in there. :)
Maybe a picnic?  the Clubs bring food or we could have everyone bring their
own?  The Floyd Club could probably find enough grills to keep us all in
line.
A thought here, Chantilly Farm was brought up as a place to have it, and
Dave KK4WW who just happens to be the owner has said OK as long as nothing
is going on.
So, what do you all think?

Glen if you would pass this on to the Briar Patch Club and whoever in
Patrick County I would appreciate it.

Bill, the same for you with the Franklin County Club, I don't know the
officers there so.....
