Hi, VTARA.  I hope you are having a good summer.

This Thursday I will be heading off to the National Scout Jamboree in West Virginia to work at K2BSA, the official jamboree amateur radio station.  These jamborees are HUGE, and they happen only once every 4 years.  Over 30,000 scouts and visitors are expected to attend.  This year is also special because it will be the first time that the jamboree in the new location in West Virginia.

At K2BSA, we strive to introduce amateur radio to thousands of young people over the 10 days that we are in operation.  One thing that is unique about the ham station is that it might be the only program area where people like you can actually participate from your own home.
