and to the New River Valley Amateur Radio Club (NRVARC) so that they can
respond to the request.  In the past I believe that the VTARA folks have
run this operation with some help from the NRVARC members.

Dear HAM Radio,



I am emailing you as the representative for Virginia Tech Cycling and this
years home cycling road race. As in previous years we would like to ask you
if you and your club would like to assist us in having full radio contact
and personal along our home road race course in Maggie Valley. Our course
will run the same as previous years with the hopes of incorporating John's
Creek Mountain as the final climb for the race.

The race will be held on Saturday March 2 this year. Please let me know if
you and your club would be interested and I'd be more than happy to meet
with you to discuss details of our plans. Email or telephone works with me (
