*Good afternoon Everyone,

I just had the strangest phone call from Juan Barr KS4UW.  He learned I was
in the hospital and had fallen off of a roof!
NO, I am not the one hurt!
On Saturday evening around 5:30pm I heard a rescue call for someone who had
had a roof collapse on them.  Well I listened to the entire call till the
helicopter got into the air, then forgot about it.  30 minutes later I got
a phone call from Don KE4UGF that it had been Dave Larsen KK4WW who had
been on a roof between two cabins and it collapsed.   He was flown to
Roanoke Memorial Hospital by their helicopter.  He underwent surgery on his
right leg, which had a very bad break on the upper end of the femur.  They
inserted a rod from his knee to his hip and closed him up.  He also has a
fractured pelvis and also a broken right wrist.  He is now in good spirits,
and is feeling a little better today.

Patrick, if you would put this on the reflector for me I would appreciate
it.  For some reason I can't seem to be able to find the address.
