[nrv-hams] 440 Repeater

I am not sure that we might not still need some tweaking of the 440/2-meter linked system.
The 440 machine seems a little "hot" to me and to a few others, and the link may need some work too. When someone is on 440 their audio seems garbled on the 2-meter side; and this could be reversed as well, but I haven't been in that configuration myself.
What I know works well is when both operators are both on 440.
I would hope we (Mike!) could listen on 2-meters when someone is on 440 to see if he can duplicate the phenomenon I'm writing about here.

> Ok thanks Danny. By the reports and info so far the repeater is working ok could be a little stronger output, but it has filled several voids in our area. We will give all club members a list of codes to link and unlink so it can be ever more helpfull to all members. It is great to hear the VT group using the machine.

It is hard to get into it from Dublin but B-burg and C-burg should not have any problem. Please let us know of any problem you may have. The power output is low but this will be changed .> 73> Len (KC5EJR)> ______________________________________________________________> nrv-hams mailing list> Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/nrv-hams> Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm> Post: mailto:nrv-hams at mailman.qth.net> > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net> Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html______________________________________________________________nrv-hams mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/nrv-hamsHelp: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:nrv-hams at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email
