FM enthusiasts and SKYWARN/public service ops may be interested to know that
Junior, N4VL, recently installed a "remote base" in Pulaski, on Peaks Knob.

This station operates on 147.570 simplex, with a RX tone sql at 91.5Hz.

It employs a 20W transmitter and a directional antenna aimed toward
Christiansburg for the remote "pick-up".

This links to the 145.130 N4VL repeater near Galax, on 145.130 (PL103.5Hz).
