This is an interactive map. If you click on the zone numbers at the bottom
of the map or on the zones on the map itself, it zooms in so you can see
better what is in each zone.
The expression WAZ stands for "Worked All Zones," an award sponsored by CQ
Magazine. You earn it by confirming all 40 zones, and that is not easy to do
because some of the zones are rare on the air. Earning the ARRL's DXCC (DX
Century Club) award for confirming a minimum of 100 DX entities is a lot
easier.
