As many of you know, there is legislation now in Congress that would end
Amateur Radio's access to the 420-440 MHz segment and auction off that
spectrum. The bill is H.R. 607, introduced by Rep. Peter King of New York.
The bill also proposes to auction off 450-470 MHz, which is used by several
different radio services. 

The ARRL has produced a brief video explaining the bill and its effects on
