[nrv-hams] Last weekend's phone contest

I know that several club members enjoyed making contacts in last weekend's
ARRL International DX Contest, phone edition. For the occasion, I finally
learned how to use the digital voice keyer built into my rig. It required
reading the manual, which of course no ham likes to do. Maybe that's why I
put it off so long!

Anyway, since several of the people who played in the contest are relatively
new to HF, I was reminded that when I was new to contesting I didn't know
about the best ways to get QSL cards from the stations I worked. I am sure I
could have gotten more confirmations if I had known more tricks of the
trade. If you'd like to profit from my mistakes of the past, I'd be happy to
help you figure out the best way to QSL the stations you worked.

If you will send me a list of the callsigns you worked and would be
interested in getting a QSL from, I would be happy to look them up in the
DXing newsletter I receive and let you know which QSLs could go via the
bureau and which ones would need to go another way. If you're not sure how
to use the outgoing and incoming ARRL bureaus, I can advise about that, too.

Some people just enjoy working stations and don't care about QSLing, but if
you do want start a QSL card collection, I'd be happy to help you get going.
