Hi Ron,
I would like to help with the classes, if we're home, of course, to help as a VE, and to be an Elmer after the class is over.
My best night is Wednesday. My worst night is Thursday. I'd hate to miss NCIS on Tuesday nights...

Subject: [nrv-hams] Ham radio class query
I am planning to lead a group of people through preparation for getting licensed, what I used to call a ham radio class, and I wanted to ask for your help in getting the word to people who might want to participate and for some help running the class.
I am thinking about starting it in mid-march and running six 2.5 hour sessions, the last being a review and VE session. This gets it done the week of April 18th before stuff gets crazy for students and faculty. I plan to ask that all students pay for the book and the test before the first class so they will have less excuse to not take the test. There will be out-of-class work to do in order to accommodate the compressed schedule.
It looks like both clubs are now using ARRL VE services so we have a large pool of VEs. Let me know if you'd like to help in this way.
If you are interested in helping with the class sessions I'd like to know is what night(s) of the week are workable for you.
Once I have a day, I will set up a schedule and you can spread the word and let me know which sessions you'd be interested in helping with.
All hams are invited to attend and be Elmers for the aspiring members of the hobby.

Ron N4AJT
