If I still had one I'd wear a scuba wet suit. Adverseweather
conditions are something we need to be prepared to work in. So
consider this a good chance to practice.
Hope everyone has a mag mounted aerial and a spare battery. This
might be a race where we spend a fair bit of time sitting in vehicles
trying to stay dry.
Look forward to seeing all my fellow operators at the Newport Rec
Center around 0600 Saturday morning. We can always use a few more
operators.
If I hear any changes to the race I will phone call each of the four
operators I've heard from. In the meantime feel free to give me a
call on the repeater, or drop me an e-mail.
