Hi Everybody,
 
The NWS hats have arrived, and, boy, do they look great!
 
Well, everybody's hats were perfect--EXCEPT for the hat size for KC5EJR and
KJ4TRT. I have re-ordered those two hats, and my sales rep Tammy Harrell
says the replacements should come to me soon. Sorry about that fellows, but
life will go on. We were unable to get a hat for Charlesanna KJ4DMS, so her
sample hat will go back to her as soon as I get it back from Tammy.
 
Now for the rest of you who ordered personalized hats, and that includes the

Your cost will be an even $15.00 per hat. The club will get a small
kickback, in the neighborhood of about $2.50. So the club will make a small
profit, too.  Everybody wins! Yay!
 
Please bring your cash (preferred) or a check made out to me, Carter
Craigie, for $15.00, and the hat will go to you. It's as simple as that!  If
you can bring me THE EXACT AMOUNT ($15.00), that would be wonderful, as I
can't promise to make any change.
 
I will make sure the club treasurer gets what's due to the club, so you
don't have to worry about that.
 
The non-personalized hats that we ordered as well will be less expensive, of
course, and a smaller mark-up will go to the club. Again, everybody should
be a winner!
 
This club meeting will be tomorrow, Tuesday, September 28th, at the
Christiansburg Library. The meeting will start at 7:30, and our presenter
will be Glen Sage W4GHS, who's bringing his brand new Emergency Radio
trailer for a demonstration. You don't want to miss this meeting. I
understand there will be refreshments served, too, so this will be a
top-notch meeting.
 
I look forward to seeing everybody there. I will try to arrive at 7:00, so
we can do the hat business before the meeting.
