[Novice-Rigs] HRO-60

Haven't seen much activity here lately, I wonder if I'm still on the list.

This is not a novice rig but figure some of you guys will have the answer. I
just purchased a HRO-60 and its on the way, never used one and know very
little about the plug in coils. So here is my question. On the coil sets for
a HRO-60, coil set A covers 14-30 mc with a band spread on 27-30 mc (11, 10
meters). Coil set AA covers 27-30 mc only. Is there any reason or advantage
to having the AA coil set if you already have the A coil set.

A novice rig question, does anyone have any luck using the vfo on their
Knight T-150. I've worked and worked on mine and cant get it settled down
where it is usable on CW.
