Oh my gosh!  What a pairing!  It amazes me that anyone could
have made many QSOs running a QRP transmitter with a receiver
that by most standards was barely useable for communication.
I used to have an AR-2 and tried REALLY hard to make 
contact with it, but it was just impossible.  It's amazing what we
as novices used on the air - hard to believe that today's newbies
would even bother to try!
