See if this comes through.  Below is a snippet of the Skew-T plot from the NWS.  The red line is air temperature, the green is dew point.  At ~ 900 mb altitude see the hotter drier air sitting over the "cooler" more moist air.   Skew-T plots are found at https://weather.rap.ucar.edu/upper/   .   73, Jon
