I’d love to see option 2. While I like the buffet format, it’s less economical than ordering what I want.

My $0.02 with. YMMV…oops pennies are being phased out.

I suggest option #1 until/unless a better idea emerges.

as the Golden Corral there has CLOSED.  On or about February 18th they closed down that

SO.
I see three options:
1) Simply move the Monthly Breakfast to MapleWOOD.  Remember, we've been meeting in Maple
GROVE for only three years  or so.  And. attendance there has always been less than at
MapleWOOD, so....

2) Find another location in Maple GROVE and continue alternating months.  There is a
Panera Bread location very close to the Golden Corral site.  They (basically) offer
'breakfast sandwiches' as McDonalds.  The selection looks OK (but I have no first-hand
knowledge.  But Panera Bread  does a good job with whatever they have.)  The overall costs
would be  less than the Golden Corral but it's NOT a buffet, its 'ala carte'.  (The coffee
at Panera Bread is much better than at the buffet and refills are free.)  If someone has
other suggestions in the area,  please let us know.

3)  Find another location somewhere else and continue alternating months.  We're open to
ideas and suggestions.  (Metro area, of course.  I'm sure there are lots places we could
go to but would need to "pack a lunch" to keep us fed while we travelled to get there. :-)

If anyone has another  idea(s), please let us know.

Also, think about it and PLEASE comment, either way(s).  If you don't comment you get no
voice in what we do.  (You may not like what we end up with but at least you'll have had a
voice.)
