Very much as Jon reported. VERY VERY strong 6m AUE both coasts, this was around 8pm. Spent too much time checking 2m analog, 2m digital, 6m analog. Signals as strong as +28db on FT8 from out east. Only heard KA9FOX on 6m SSB. Don't recall any AU on his sig as I was beamed only E or W for the 15min or so the AUE was here. Worked 3 stations 2 in OR and other New England, didn't check to see what state. Nothing heard at all on 2m.

Visual was nice. Worked to get XYL, Pat out to see it without falling. Lawn chair for her to set in. She could not see the red, but lots of red to our west. Way too many trees and light pollution to the N and NE to see much but UP and down the driveway to the W or S at elevation is "ok". My cell phone is not fancy (sensitive) enough to be a AU enhancer. Very pretty wispy dynamic yellow/green ribbons of AU forming around the zenith and blotches of red elsewhere.
