Updates have been few and far between but there is still some
info to pass along.
New info highlighted with ****.
Rovers: WBØLJC, Gary and WA9TT, Larry. Start time with
MN/WI (EN35rj stations 7:30 AM. First planned
site is EN32qw, not EN32ow. Sorry for any
confusion, mostly on my part.
Route--Saturday North Central Iowa near Waterloo south to
U20 and west on US20. North from Fort
Dodge on Sunday. End at Kiester, EN33en.
******Expected arrival time at the first US 20 site is
10 to 10:30 AM. At each site, along US20, we
will start with the EN35rj group and others to the north. Then
look East as there are a few close ops
in that direction. Next is the EM49hq group in Hannibal, MO. From
there it depends on conditions.
******Rover#2: Chris, NØUK, and Holly, KØHAC will be roving
on a route starting near EN24TQ heading south
ending in Iowa. Overnight in Fairmont, MN. Heading SW back into
Iowa on Sunday morning before heading north back
into MN to wrap up the weekend. Contact 612-719-6351
****K8OS, JB, will not be roving with Chris and Holly.
He has a work commitment taking up his
time.
Fixed: KØKFC and WA2VOI at Jim''s QTH in EN35rj.
Jon, WØZQ plans to be at Jim's both days.
Ray, WBØEBG, both days.
Mike, KBØOZN. At Jim's one or maybe both days.
****Possible addition at Jim's: WBØVHF, Evelyn. Recovery from hip surgery has been going well and she still hopes to be at the EN35rj site but maybe for only one day and not both.
*****There is a chance the AJ9L, Andy, will join the
EN35 group. However, he lives in Neenah, WI, a
four hour drive to get to Jim's. He is pretty new to the band.
******If you don't have a rig and need to borrow
one, please let me know. We have two loaners.
However, one has been spoken for by Larry, WA9TT, if his rig
hasn't been repaired in the next few days. If his rig
does get fixed then we will have two loaners at Jim's QTH.The
other loaner is a combination of Jon's
Handheld rig and a club dish, 2w and 18" dish. Thanks to Jon for
the temporary use of his rig so that others can have a
rig to use.
Fixed home QTH: KØAWU, Bill in EN37ed. Part time on
Saturday full time Sunday. Call for sked.
****Fixed EN26cg: KØSHF, Lenny plans to be on both days.
Maybe NOØX, Todd, will join him again. but
this is unknown at this time.
****Fixed from near home QTH: NBØM, Ed. No further plans
available at this time. However, I have suggested
at site with good takeoffs in some directions not far from his
home QTH.
Fixed site EN42ts: KA9VDU Gregr. He will be at EN442ts13HH Platte Mound M. This site has very good views to the West but other directions may be limited by the trees at the top.
Fixed group at EN52xi: AA9IL and K9TMS. Maybe another op
or two.
*****Fixed group Saturday at EM49hq: AF4JF, Herbert. AD7OI, Kevin and Debbie, KI7GVT, plan to be at EM49hq part of the day, they have a commitment at 4PM. K0ØZ, Ron and his XYL Debbie, KC9ULA will be at EM49hq for a short time. Then they plan to rove to the north for a few sites. However, roving back to the south is also possible. There could be another op or two there too.
******Canadian Operation: VE4MA, Barry, is organizing some local operations on the higher bands. I don't have any more details.
*****Operating QTH undetermined: NØKP, Dave. Best info that I have is either EN34hx, building top, or he may join the EN35rj group. Site depends on weather/wind. He doesn't want to get blown off the top of the 34hx building.
Not on: W9FZ and KA9VVQ. They have other plans for the
weekend.
KØMHC, Jim. Plans to have tower mounted system up in 2026.
KCØSKM, Gregg. Unavailable for the weekend.
NØAKC, Charlie will not be on. He will be working the
ARRL 2.3 and Up EME contest.

Lets hear from the rest of you.
