Hi All,
The first 10 G weekend is only a four weeks away.
What do you plan to do and where do you plan to operate?
Here is what I know as of today:
Rovers: WBØLJC and WA9TT. Start time with MN/WI stations 7:30 AM.
Route--Saturday start North of Waterloo, IA. Travel south for three
sites to US 20. West on US 20 for four or five sites. Goal along US 20
is to work the MN locals, the group in EM49hq, to the east, AA9IL+ and
WI ops and also the ops to the west in Nebraska and Kansas. After the
last US 20 site. then continue west to Fort Dodge, IA for a couple of
more sites working to the north. Sunday, generally north ending the day
at Kiester, EN33en for some long tries.
Fixed: KØKFC and WA2VOI at Jim''s QTH in EN35rj.
Fixed from home QTH:??
Fixed group at EN52xi: AA9IL and K9TMS. Maybe another op or two.
Not on: W9FZ and KA9VVQ. They have other plans for the weekend.
There are other ops out of our local area who I haven't heard from, but
will let everyone know when I do hear something.
How about the rest of you? Would you like to rove with Larry and me?
How about joining Jim and Donn at Jim's QTH in St Croix Falls (this site
will not be available for the September weekend). Are you going to rove,
if so what route are you planning to use. Will you be on from home or
some other fixed site?
We have some loaner rigs available for those who want to get on but
don't own 10 G equipment. Let me know so we can schedule your use of the
rig.
Please let me know.
73, Gary WBØLJC
