Hello all –

I’ve recently been made aware of a few tidbits that are left over from a satellite uplink truck that’s being dismantled/sent to the scrap heap. Some of it may be available to me.

The biggest item of interest, a 2.4 meter (I think) Ku Band (14 Ghz tx 12 Ghz rx) transmit/receive antenna, completely motorized and remote controlled. I believe it runs on 110VAC, but I’ve yet not been able to confirm it.

There may be a couple more items available but that’s not for certain.

So, calling all VHF’ers and moonbounce stations, is this antenna of interest to you? Just email me at [email protected] if you’re interested more than just kicking the tires. If there’s someone on the list that is also on the moonbounce reflector (assuming there is one) please feel free to forward this.

I can’t use it (as much fun as it would be) so I’m not going to get it if there’s no one really interested,,,
