Last summer's conference in Cedar Rapids was a fine event. Volunteers are
working hard to get ready for this summer's conference in Lincoln, Nebraska.
We know the website is not ready with all the good info....yet.

You will get an email much like this when the website is ready to be viewed
and consider all the options for this summer's conference.  For now, block
out July 24-27 and plan to go to Lincoln, NE.

The biggest part of any CSVHFS is papers and presentations where members
share interesting content with the conference attendees.  With that in mind,
I am relaying the call for papers (and presentations) below.

24 - 27 July, 2025  Lincoln, Nebraska

Call for Papers & Presentations

The Central States VHF Society is soliciting papers, presentations, and
Poster displays for the 57rd Annual CSVHF Society Conference to be held in
Lincoln, Nebraska on 24 - 27 July, 2025.  Papers, presentations, and Posters
on all aspects of weak-signal VHF and above amateur radio are requested.
You do not need to attend the conference, nor present your paper, to have it
published in the Proceedings.  Posters will be displayed during the two days
of the Conference.

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

Antennas, including modeling/design, arrays, and control
Pre-amplifiers (low noise)
Test equipment, including homebrew, commercial, and measurement tips and
techniques
Construction of equipment such as Transmitters, Receivers, and Transverters
Regulatory topics
Operating, including contesting, roving, and DXpeditions
RF amplifiers including single-band and multi-band vacuum tube, solid state,
and TWTA's
EME (moonbounce)
Digital Signal Processing
Software Defined Radio
Propagation, including ducting, Sporadic E, and tropo, ionospheric, meteor,
or rain scatter
Digital modes such as WSJT, FT8, JT65, etc


Generally, topics not related to weak-signal VHF such as FM Repeaters and
packet-radio  are not accepted for presentation or publication.  However,
there are always exceptions.  If you have any questions about the
suitability of a particular topic please contact the Proceedings or
Presentation coordinators listed below.

Deadline for submissions:
Proceedings:  Submit your paper(s) to [email protected]
no later than Saturday, 14 June 2025.
Presentations:  Schedule your presentation (s) with or without a published
paper at  [email protected]  no later than Saturday, 5
July 2025.  With coordination, presentations and posters may be delivered
at the conference.
