It is indeed a strong storm. The railroad tracks are "hot."
I live 150ft from the BNSF tracks going to Willmar. When a train passed by an hour ago (10:45pm) I could hear the cars trucks noising up HF and was constant until the train had solidly moved passed. This is not a normal experience. 

Wonder how the power grid is doing...
