Jon askes a question I didn't think of...are cables for 10GHz ?

Hi Mel,
Maybe I can help...
Two (three ?) possibilities.  First, what frequency are you going to use them on ?  (Its
important.)

First try:  I have two, 3'+ LDF4-50 cables.  They are NOT flexible, though.  Low loss,
0.25 dB/Foot at 1296; 0.35 dB/foot at 2300.  N-male both ends.  I may be able to scrounge
2 Nf-f that you can at least borrow.

Second try:  I have two 5' very flexible cables from a military point-point 4.5GHz system.
Small diameter (~0.2").  No type number on them.  Mfg tested on a ~10' piece as 5.1 dB
loss at 4.4 GHz  or 0.5dB/foot at 4.4 GHz.  It would be lower at 1296 (<0.2 maybe ?) or at
2300 (<0.3 maybe ?)  Again, I may be able to scrounge Nf-f.  (From my antenna range
adapters, so most likely, borrow only.)

Also, I may be able to find a couple of pieces of 9913 or LMR400 but both would be ~ 20'
long.  Would bet that the over-all loss numbers would be similar to the above short
cables.

Hello NLRS, I plan to bring the Twofer to breakfast, as the start of our Fall Color Tour.
I am in the need of two microwave rated coax minimum two feet long with Male N
connectorson at least one end. Female N on the second end would be ideal, otherwise Male N
anddouble female barrel connectors would be another combination that would work.
Maybesomebody can bring some spare stuff to breakfast to help my Rover setup for January.
