I had some high hopes for this contest weekend with a hurricane coming north out of the gulf and with some nice regional tropo all day of Friday, but, it was not to be. Saturday was really flat with Sunday the same only showing some slight improvement towards the evening. No aurora, no Es, and a drought on rovers this time too. So, while it was probably my slowest September ever, still lots of fun to play radio. I did detect a fair amount of MS pings on 6m, so I suspect those who did some meteor scatter may have seen good conditions. And, always fun to work the uW bands. 5.7 and 10 GHz contacts were with W0GHZ at about 18 miles while set up in my garage. One of the 2304 Qs was a first time Q with EN43. And, nice CW Q;s with K0AWU on 902 and 1296 despite all my trees (with leaves) in that direction.
