The ARRL September VHF contest is this coming weekend,
September 14-16, running from1800 UTC Saturday and ending 0259 UTC Monday. Bands are 50 MHz and up and the contest exchange is your four digit grid square. Those on FTx, don't forget to switch to contest mode in order to make your grid square the exchange. I plan to be around this weekend from the home station, EN34it, on 6m through 3400. Right now the Hepburn Tropo Index https://www.dxinfocentre.com/tropo.html is showing some improving propagation into the weekend. Sometimes hurricanes in the gulf can produce some interesting VHF propagation.
