contest time. Hepburn is showing some ok stuff on Saturday. I will be driving down Friday night to open up the station. I have had some wind damage and my usual stack of 13b2s was bent over and pointed at the ground. New form of ground bounce maybe (lol). I am just running a single 13b2 now at 85 feet. I will be running the usual digital modes. Ft8 msk and with a recent successful be it fumbled q65 contact on 222 mhz in the June contest into Texas and it wasn't k5qe. I really need to figure that mode out but it works. For the analog stations. What I am seeing is not all bad to the north of my em57rn station on hepburn but that could always change. At 0000 Sunday saturday eve really. I will run a bunch of rf to the north . I will alternate cq,s on 144.200 and swing the beam between chicago and Minnesota. Probably mostly cw but I will run some ssb also. If I can figure out how to get the 7300 keyer to work I can make some noise on 6 also in the same time frame.although not sure what freq I should use on 6. Suggestions? Hope to see you on the bands 73 Marshall wd9exd. Single 5 ele at 94 feet on 6 and I run about 700 watts on both 6 and 2.
