I've seen Tommy's list of gain and noise figure measurements for his preamps on different bands. I've built his preamps for 902, 1296, 2304 and 3400 MHz. I painstakingly copied his board pattern. For 2304 and 3400, I had JLC PCB make me some boards on 25 mil thick FR-4.  My gain measurements are all in line with his. He didn't include one for 902 MHz, but I measured the gain on 902 at 41 dB (!).  It's good that they are unconditionally stable.

I really don't have the equipment to do a real gain or NF test, but I believe the handwritten notes Tommy had on the LNA were 28dB gain with a NF of 0.5 dB.  I can attest to the fact mu RX on EME is quite good

Shortly after workin W5LUA I also worked N1AV in AZ for another new state/grid.  Jay was only running about 100 watts to a 4M dish.  He was considerably weaker than Al, but copyable.  Looking forward to trying to work Jay in HI next week.
