Not sure who is aware or how many on this group are interested, but in the event anyone is - The International EME Conference is being held in Trenton, NJ August 9-11.  This is the first time it's being held in the US since 2010.  I have never been to one, but I plan to go to this one, since it's hard to tell when it will come back to the US.

Having been involved in EME since 1993, I'm looking forward to meeting some people I've never met before (and some of them are from the US)!

Hello NLRS land

With 2023 in our review mirror, here is a condensed view of what is ahead of us for the first half of 2024.  Mark your calendars !
  • Jan 20/21 ARRL January VHF Contest.  6M and up !
  • Feb 3 Minnesota QSO Party.    Although its a HF activity event, NLRS has taken 1st place in the Minnesota club competition for several years in a row.  Lots of fun on the low bands!
  • Mar 23 MidWinter Madness Hamfest, Buffalo, MN.   NLRS is planning on having a club table at the event, stop by for an eyeball QSO.
  • April 1 144 Spring Sprint, 7pm to 11pm local
  • April 16 222 Spring Sprint, 7pm to 11pm local
  • April 24 432 Spring Sprint, 7pm to 11pm local
  • May 4 902 & Up uW Spring Sprint, 8am to 2pm local along with May 4/5 SBMS 2304 & Up Contest.  A twofer as contacts made on Saturday count for both contests.
  • May 11/12 6m Spring Sprint, 5/11 2300z to 5/12 0300z
  • June 1 Aurora Conference, Plymouth, MN.
    • When: Saturday, June 1, 2024  9:00 am - 5:00 pm (CDT)
    • Where: West Medicine Lake Community Club, 1705 Forestview Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55441
    • We are always looking for 15" to 30" presentations for the afternoon session.  Aurora is a good practice session for those headed to other conferences later in the year too like CSVHFS or the EME conference that is in NJ this August.   Drop me a note if you have an idea that you want to present.
  • June 8/9 ARRL June VHF Contest.  6m and up !
  • July 26/27 Central States VHF Society Conference.  Cedar Rapids, IA.  The conference doesn't get much closer to NLRS land than this.  Details to follow.
  • July 20/21 CQWW VHF Contest.  6 and 2m only, but still a fun event with good activity that supports the old rover rules too.
