Yes those storms in SE VE4 were quite intense....I got up at 1 am , 3am , 5am and then again around 8 am it rained. We got about 1 1 /3 in rain.
There were some storms that were 59k ft in the middle of the night!
Westerm VE4 were not impacted by the storms and neither was VA3ECO until after 9 am . Looked like Chris worked down into IA/ KS.
I also decoded W0RPR late in the morning after I had about given up on there being anything special propagation wise.
I think the VE4ARM site is at high elevation which may have helped it get into the opening. Unfortunately I am in a shallow valley ( Red River North) which extends down to beyond Fargo ND., so it takes a bit of propagation to get out of it.
The Hepburn Propagation map for 1200 and 1500 tomorrow looks promising...see attached
