Hello NLRS land
Aurora'23 will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (CDT) at the West Medicine Lake Community Club, 1705 Forestview Lane North, Plymouth, MN. The rumor mill indicates that we have at least two planned presentations at this time but we are looking for several more. From a program perspective we like to have "a bunch" of short presentations on a wide variety of weak signal VHF+ topics rather than a few longer presentations. This is your club and your conference so this is where you come in.
Aurora is a very easy venue for presenting and as a club all of us are very interested in hearing about your weak signal VHF+ projects, activities, knowledge and insights. Presentations can run from a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, construction projects, operating, contesting, roving, propagation, grid expeditions, uW activity, lasers/LEDs, software tools, hardware tools, testing, test equipment, EME, antennas, dishes and feeds, 6m DX, digital modes, etc etc. You get the idea. With another month or two of winter still upon us, now is the time to consider presenting on a topic at Aurora on June 3. With club membership at over 100 weak signal VHF+ enthusiasts there is a treasure trove of knowledge and experience out there so please consider sharing some of that with us. Presentations can be as short as 10 minutes or as long as 30 minutes.
Please drop me a note direct if you have an interest in presenting, or if you have a topic that you would like to learn more about and are searching for someone to present on it.
73, Jon
