Just on for a short while each day. On saturday I got sucked in to the NAQP a bit more than planned with 10 and 15 open. Then I discovered that my rotor for the 2m and 70cm beams would not turn, and the rotor for the 6m beam would turn, but only clockwise. The first one turned out to be a bad rotor controller box; I swapped in a spare on Sunday. I think the other one may be a bad cable but I'm not going to the roof to find out just yet.

Anyhow, I appreciate the locals that were able to hear me while I was on. I suppose I could have worked a bunch on digital, but went old school this time. No replies to my repeated CQ on 2m CW, but perhaps I had already worked those who could hear me on SSB by then. My 2m and 70cm antennas are only at about 16 feet, (normally used for satellite), so that's not doing me any favors for terrestrial contacts.
