FYI, I hope to be on 6 and 2 meters tomorrow at the start of the September VHF Contest in, or near, EN19om (sorry, no rare grid this time). I have one of the MFJ 6/2 dipoles which, after some gnashing of teeth and fiddling with element length, seems to be tuned fine on both bands according to my NanoVNA. I also hope to have a small 2-meter Yagi set up to make my 10-watt Ukrainian transverter a bit more audible. Since the IC-7300 has only one antenna port I will have to switch cables manually to go from 6 to 2 and back. I'll start on 6 at 1800UTC and, if conditions warrant, will stay there for an hour or so. I'll then go to 2 at about 1900UTC and work what I can hear. I'll be mainly CW/SSB but I will check FT-8 on both bands. If 6 is good I'll go back after seeing what 2 produces. I hope there is some propagation so I can work more than just locals.
