Good morning, everyone!

I am on 2m trying to make my very first FT8 contact ever. I am running an ICOM 9700 with an Elk 2m/440L5 antenna -and also using MacLoggerDX.

All this is new to me (rig, antenna, logger, WSJT-X, FT8, etc.) so trying to learn while committing a few mistakes. I tried to contact WI0O and W0GHZ but was not able to complete the QSO due to some last-minute glitches on my side.

I will be monitoring for another few hours trying to make my first FT8 QSO.
