Disappointed that I had only one 10GHz QSO with all the weather. I was sure excited looking at the weather forecast thinking that it was going to be GREAT for 10GHz, but not the case.

  Hard work it was. I was so relieved to shut all the blowers and rigs down, THE NOISE! GREAT end to the contest by working Mel and Carol with no coordination from 2 grids in the last 35min on 432 and 222 SSB at 298 miles. I only needed one repeat from Carol. That was VERY COOL. Thanks Mel and Carol!

   Thanks to the Canadian crew again: VE4MA, VE4CY, VE4DDZ, VA3ECO and VE3KRP. It would have been a bleak contest without those fellows for sure. Notable DX – K2YAZ, W0LGQ, K2DRH, KG0VL. It had been a while for some of these guys to appear in my logbook.

   I have no idea of the conditions. “The sample size was just too small”. The Canadian crew were strong but not too many others.
