I am putting one of the club's 10GHz loaner systems up for sale, the proceedings will go to the NLRS.  I'm tired of storing it in my garage.  The system is based on an old 2 watt version of the DownEast Microwave transverter where its original crystal controlled Micro LO has been replaced with a newer digiLO that runs on its on-board TCXO reference .... very stable and within 1 KHz as is.  If you want to modify it for an external 10 MHz source, go for it.  I measured a full 2 watts out on my somewhat Scotch power meter.  It hears fairly well as is but would benefit by the addition of a external preamp.   The system uses a 18" Dish Network offset with its original feed that has been modified for 10GHz.  The IF rig is a Kenwood TM255A 2m radio.  Pictures on request, pick up in Bloomington.  Again, all proceedings are going to the club.  $400.
