Hello all. Yes, my plans are tentative, but I am thinking about operating from a site just east of Duluth on the Wisconsin side as a fixed station. I have not been there before, but Google Maps looks promising. If there is interest I can bring my 5760 too, 8 watts, digilocked on its internal TCXO, along with my 10G system. Thinking about something in the area from Schafer Beach (WI) to Wisconsin Point, again tbd. If there is interest and activity I would stay there Saturday & Sunday working whomever is available.

Hi everyone,
A few of us will be going to Lake Superior to operate the August
weekend of the 10 G contest.
We would like to work as many of you as we can from where ever you can
get on. We have a couple of good shots back to the south Saturday
morning and some others during the day In 2022 there was a good sized
group at the Cannon Falls, EN34nl, site. Our North Shore group has nine
ops this time.
Our first site Saturday morning has a good view from Thompson Rest Stop
back to the south. Pete, K9PW, will be scouting the sites again this
year and will check to see if there are other usable sites. We had a
second site at McQuade in 2022 but there has been some development so it
needs to be checked. There are other site that also have views back to
the south.
Jon, ZQ, had some interest in going to a beach a in Wisconsin at the
south end of the lake. It would offer a chance to work the Canadians on
a long path. That's something Barry is very interested in doing. For
the MN ops the paths are very short, but would be worth it if the ops
stayed most of the day so we could work them from the North end of the
route.
Please let me know what you plan to do and where you will operate.
